Operation Christmas Child began in 1993 when Samaritan's Purse was able to send 28,000 shoebox gifts to children in war-torn Bosnia. Since then, due to the generosity of so many, 188 million children in more than 170 countries have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox.
Please visit the OCC table in the narthex for resources, information, and pick up a SHOEBOX and LABEL for the final push of our annual Samaritan’s Purse – Operation Christmas Child event. Boxes will be available through November 10. Choose the age and gender of your precious recipient, have fun shopping for unique and personal items, and then return the full box to church by November 24!
You can follow your box with a $10 donation that also covers shipping.
Our in person shoebox collection goal is 200. Thanks to your generosity and our "Christmas In July" push we are well on our way to that goal!

ABOUT OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Their mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
