Mission of Christ Network - LightHouse Transformation Ministries
Behind the beautiful beaches and famed ecotourism of Costa Rica, there exists for many Ticos (Costa Ricans) a harsher reality marked by generational cycles of poverty, broken homes, abuse, and human trafficking. Particularly in the rural, coastal region youth are faced with a poor education system and few opportunities for forward progress.
Trinity has been a financial supporter of Mission of Christ Network since it began. MCN mission partners serve an organization called LightHouse Transformation Ministries. The mission of LightHouse is to facilitate social transformation through informal education and Gospel proclamation. By addressing the needs for support in education, Ethan and Amanda are able to make connections, build meaningful relationships, enable a brighter future, mentor through difficulties, and share the love, hope, and joy of Jesus.
After making a brief discovery trip last fall, Trinity will be embarking on our first mission trip to Parrita, Costa Rica to partner with the mission of LightHouse, in early summer 2022.
