Advent Devotions
GOD’S GOT THE PLAN
AN ADVENT READING PLAN
Advent means "coming," and during the four weeks leading to Christmas, we prepare for GOD’S PLAN of sending His Son, Jesus into the world. It is intended to be a time of anticipation, slowing down, waiting, and being filled with awe and wonder.
This year, Trinity Lutheran is using a centerpiece with devotional cards for our devotional times beginning on November 30th. The devotions will include: scripture reference, reflections, and prayer that can be used daily as a family or personally. These will be available outside of the sanctuary and at the Family Advent Event.
** NEW THIS YEAR - we will have these devotions available on-line with Bible readings given by members of our Trinity family posted each day!
Here are some ideas for FAMILIES using this resource together:
Pick a consistent time for all . . . meals, after school, or bedtime
Have kids help lead various parts
Sing or play a favorite Christmas song or hymn as part of your experience
Our Advent devotion booklets will be available in the narthex beginning November 30 or for download HERE.
