PRETEEN FAITH MILESTONE : 5/6th GRADE MOTHER/DAUGHTER, FATHER/SON
Every other year Trinity Lutheran hosts two separate 5/6th grade parent/child retreats for Mother-Daughters entitled, “God’s Design for His Daughters” and Father-Sons called, “God’s Plan for a Man”. The purpose of this high energy, interactive retreat is to spend quality time together while giving a godly understanding of what it means to become a young woman and man of God. The most important relationship your child needs in helping them to make wise and godly choices through their teen years (and beyond) is their relationship with you, their parents. This retreat is designed to help deepen the parent/child relationship, foster open communication concerning the upcoming changes with their body, gain a better understanding of God’s design for them, and connect with other families in this same lifestage. Trinity is excited to partner with parents as you intentionally come alongside your child in this meaningful moment.
The next Preeteen Milestone will take place in February, 2025. Registration will be available closer to that date.
