ADVENT & CHRISTMAS WORSHIP
BLUE CHRISTMAS
MONDAY, December 8, 6:00PM
During this Christmas season we would Iike to extend love, support, and prayers to those who are feeling weighed down under the burdens of loss, grief, hardship, or spiritual brokenness. As part of this special service we will offer prayers, scripture, and music that acknowledge that God's presence is for those who mourn, those who struggle, and who are just feeling "blue" this Christmas season. God's word comes to shine the light into our darkness. Join us as we share God's love and hope together. Everyone, regardless of church background, is welcome. Invite those you know who are having a "blue" Christmas this year.
BEHOLD THE STAR (Christmas Cantata) SUNDAY, December 14, 8:15AM and 10:30AM
Our musical ensembles lead us in our worship patterns at both services. Alleluia Ringers handbell choir will play a fun prelude,”Behold the Star!” which combines two familiar spirituals. Then Trinity Choir and the Trinity Children’s Choir will lead us on a journey starting with our own human brokenness and need for a Savior and carrying us through the progression of events surrounding Christ’s birth. We will hear the Word proclaimed by our pastor and receive the Lord’s Supper. We will be reminded that, “the star which once shone over Bethlehem still shines in the hearts of those who seek the warmth of God’s embrace.” The JOY of Christmas is that our all-powerful God humbled himself to enter our broken world to connect with us and restore us through His saving work on the cross.

TRADITIONAL CANDLELIGHT - 7:00PM
Join us a little later to worship and celebrate the birth of Jesus! There will be familiar Christmas hymns led by organ, a choral offering by Trinity Choir, a children’s message, a take-home object, a live nativity led by our youth, and a powerful candlelight service to send us reflecting on the birth of Jesus.
QUIET CHRISTMAS CANDLELIGHT - 11:00PM
Hear the Christmas story through Scripture lessons and carols. Solos and small ensembles lead the congregation in the singing of familiar carols as well as a few newer pieces.
