Good News from the Beginning:
The Gospel in Genesis

During our midweek Lenten services, we will continue our journey through the Bible. We will focus on our Savior’s journey to the cross. The first two weeks will focus on who Jesus is—the Good Shepherd and the Resurrection and the life. The following four weeks will focus on events from Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.

Throughout Lent, I encourage you to allow yourself to fully engage in the journey that Jesus took to the cross in our place. You may be tempted to look away or fast forward to the empty tomb. I encourage you to look deeply at the incredible act of love on the cross. Yes, it will be difficult. But, oh, the joy we will have when we celebrate the empty tomb together!

May God grow your faith in Jesus this Lenten Season.
— Pastor David

LENTEN WORSHIP

ASH WEDNESDAY worship will take place on February 18, at 4:00 & 6:00PM - the 6PM service will be livestreamed. The Lord's Supper and imposition of ashes will take place at both services.

We will continue worship on Wednesdays throughout Lent at 4 & 6PM. These additional times of worship, which provide extra opportunities to gather around God’s Word, help us to prepare to observe Holy Week and celebrate Easter. During our midweek Lenten worship we will focus on our SAvior’s journey to the cross.

The Sundays during this season are referred to as not “of Lent” but “in Lent.” Thus, the Sundays retain an Easter tone and are typically less solemn than our midweek services. SUNDAYS throughout the Lenten season we will continue our Journey Through the Bible series.

LENTEN DEVOTIONS

Lent is such a powerful season for reflecting on the life-changing and life-giving work of Christ. For 2026, we are offering a devotional booklet from Lutheran Hour Ministries for teens and adults called “Behold Your King!”

For families with children up to age 12, we will be sharing an age-appropriate devotion - “The Cross and Me” as well.

This season can be a time when our personal time with the Lord is strengthened, gently nudged, or even serves as the introduction to a new habit. Let’s use this time to be in God’s Word TOGETHER (as a church and as households) and be filled with His truth.
