CHRISTMAS IN JULY OCC PUSH
Hearts Ablaze is once again sponsoring a "Christmas in July" push for Samaritan’s Purse OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD. Collection will take place throughout the month of July. Build a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child or buy some items to go in shoeboxes. Individual items will be gathered and packed here at the church in July. Thrivent Grants are a great resource, as are back-to-school sales. 
There will be a table in the narthex between services each Sunday in July. Pick up information and shoeboxes and/or drop off items.
Examples of items:

• “WOW” item – doll, soccer ball & pump, stuffed animal, musical instrument

• Personal Care item – comb, brush, toothbrush, fun bandages, nail clipper (no toothpaste or liquids or medication)

• School supplies – pencils, crayons, markers, notebooks, calculator, scissors (no glue)

• Clothing and accessories – flip flops or shoes, sunglasses, clothing

• Crafts & activities – crayons, markers, jump rope, puzzles

• Toys – ball, frisbee, finger puppets
