A Message from the Congregation President
Monday, February 13th, 2017
Dear Members of Trinity Lutheran Church,
On Sunday, February 12, our Voters' Assembly approved the recommendation from the Master Site Evaluation Committee to consolidate our ministry facilities at our Hamilton Road campus. More than 360 members attended, with the measure receiving more than the two-thirds majority required for passage. Personally, it was an amazing experience to witness so many of God's people engaged in the discussion, exhibiting their love for Trinity and its ministries. My thanks to Scott Lage and the members of the committee for their faithful work leading up to the recommendation.
In the coming weeks I will be working with our pastors and the Board of Lay Ministry to appoint two new committees. One will work towards developing a detailed site plan for the Hamilton Road campus. The other will focus on fundraising, putting structures in place to be ready to go when the Voters' Assembly approves the new site plan. I will communicate back with the congregation just as soon as these committees are formed and approved.
We, as a congregation now begin a new and exciting journey. My prayer is that God shines His light on our next steps, and that we will be faithful in following His direction.
Brett Bloebaum, President
