In October, your Building Committee has continued to make significant progress with the congregational needs assessment and other tasks. This October update details our progress and anticipated next steps.
The team has created a draft RFI to send to architects. Would like to receive the Request for Interest (RFI)’s from the potential architects by December with the hope of completing interviews by January. Finalists will be asked for Request for Proposal (RFP) in February. Subcommittee to have RFP documentation ready in January to give to architects in February.
We expect to utilize a design/build approach allowing us to partner with both architects and contractors earlier in the process ensuring a more desirable long term outcome.
Congregational Needs Assessment
The team has been focused attending small group meetings and providing opportunities for congregational feedback. Small group meetings should be completed by mid-November. Congregational feedback opportunities were provided during the week of October 30, with opportunities both in the evening and during the day. The team is working to consolidate all feedback received.
We value your feedback (online, paper, meetings, etc) and look forward to taking the opportunity to respond to your questions and ideas.
We look forward to sharing more information as we know it. We would love for you to pray for God’s guidance as we continue on this journey together.
Yours in Christ,
